BIO

Since I was a girl I have always been very passionate about sports: I played basketball and volleyball and worked as a minibasketball instructor. During my university years I continued to practice physical activity and I studied the physiology of exercise and sport.

I also studied in Spain and did a clinical research period in Australia during my residency.

For about ten years, as a social doctor I have been following men's and women's professional sports teams and youth and senior national selections, with whom I have also participated in World and European events. In particular, I was involved in basketball, football, speed skating and ice hockey.

I believe that physical activity is an essential part of people's lives and that there is a "right amount" of exercise for everyone. Exercise is not only the prevention and treatment of many chronic diseases, but it also allows you to feel good from a psychophysical point of view and to give your best in other areas of life. My purpose is to help athletes and everyday people achieve their health and fitness goals by tailoring exercise to their specific needs and abilities.

I am an expert in: exercise programs; sports cardiology; prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries; sports nutrition; musculoskeletal ultrasound; exercise physiology; mountain sports; exercise in patients with chronic conditions.
